EDWARD WILLIAM STANO
I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from California State University and attended Albany Law School for my Juris Doctor degree. I initially worked with a mid sized law firm in the western New York area where I concentrated my practice in the areas of Matrimonial & Family Law and Criminal & Traffic Law. I was also fortunate to benefit from the knowledge of the many skilled attorneys that I worked with in other areas of practice.
Returning to the Capital District area, I teamed with attorney John Breeze, where I had previously worked during my tenure at Albany Law School. I was then offered a position with the Albany County Department of Social Services handling matters involving guardianships, Medicaid recoveries, supplemental needs trusts, and support matters in family court.
I currently maintain a private office which allows me to put to use the skills that I have acquired from my various work experience. I enjoy the variety of matters that I handle and take pleasure in the challenge of fashioning solutions for complex legal issues.
