It may also involve preparing other documents such as a power of attorney, living will and health care proxy, or planning for an unforseen disability or mental incapacity.
GUARDIANSHIP is often sought for an individual who needs someone else to make his or her decisions because of mental incapacity which could arise from a developmental disability, mental retardation, or onset dementia.
